Thanks, but NO!, George!
Yes, George did it again – as reported at the front page of yesterday’s Borneo Post! It’s fine and it doesn’t matter whether the Dayak Bidayuh MPs have delivered 100% of the seats to BN or not.
Nay, a federal post is just nothing if you can’t deliver any progress to your respective constituency, isn’t it? They (I mean those Dayak MPs) are just puppets (deputies), while their master puppets (fool ministers, partying presidents, etc.) control everything!
It’s just like when(ever) you apply for an IRPA (Intensified Research in Priority Areas) grant, it won’t be guaranteed that whether you can get it or not from MoSTI, lah… Your project proposal(s) should be in (a) working condition…
Thanks for the lobbying job (?) done, George! I don’t think the Bidayuh people will take (a) riot into the street just because all their MPs were not given any of the Federal post! Anyway, the path is now slowly being cleared of lallangs… Now it’s time (to burn the lallangs) for Getah Kawén Masing planting project(s)… Nay, that’s a lie!

Tiyung Dayak a.k.a. Teddy a.k.a. Ted a.k.a. TD
Who is this Tiyung Dayak guy?!
Yes, I have appointed myself as a Blogotician prior to the 12th General Election, which was held all over Malaysia on March 08, 2008. And for the first time in Malaysian history since her independence from the Brits 50 years ago, 2/3 of BN majority has been denied by the opposition. Yes, thanks again to the advancement of ICT – the domain factor that has proves its effectiveness in this cyber war games, where blogs and blogging are the submain factors that has and ever will influence voters’ perception toward ineffective Malaysian leaders (and not just the ineffective Bidayuh leaders).
Since time immemorial (?!), the Malaysians have been denied the truth and most of the time they have been fed with true lies through the gomen-controlled mainstream media! Based on my random survey, it is safe for me to conclude that almost 85% of Malaysian population did not have access to the ICT. But then, there is hope for the better, especially among the young, educated Malaysians, as they are now the major force behind this IT Age Revolution, who are gradually aware about the importance of ICT and put in use in their daily life.
Yes, I hereby take an “e-oath” that I’ll be a responsible Blogotician and practice my rights to express my views freely (here and there!) for the betterment of the future of Bidayuh young ones…
In the name of “Hope for a Better Future” I swear, lah…
Disclaimer: Yes, correct! Come to know him (first) before you’ll love him (and NOT the other way round)… L.O.L.!!!

Tiyung Dayak – “The Sour Dayak Apple” in Bidayuh PoliticsTheme: Andreas04 by Andreas Viklund. Blog at WordPress.com.

George is only berpura-pura to be sad
who in their correct frame of mind would think Georgie would drop any of the Chinese minister in exchange for a Dayak one.
To me, the Dayak Bidayuhs only get the left-over! The fact is that the MENTALITY of our ye-olde folks are very hard to arrange and change…
I’m hoping that our young bloods will react positively in changing their perception on Sarawak politics. It doesn’t matter whether they are party members or not.
USE YOUR INTUITION to assess/evaluate current situation!
Are they (the young bloods) going to laugh off whenever they see their Dayak brethrens are involved in the L C D A (Let’s Chase Dawak Away) scam?! Look for thesundaypost, April 12, 2009 Edition – Keep Kuching flood-free (the headline).
Thanks anyway to Dyaksblog for the LCDA acronym…
The silence of the lambs >>> your votes count!
We don’t need that federal post! We need a leader that can unite our people, that can bring us together, that can show us how we really need each other all the time in wahtever we do, THAT HAS THE DAYAK SPIRIT FLOWS RAPIDLY IN HIS BLOOD, and that is there to ‘walk the talk’.
We don’t need a politician, we need a leader. We don’t need a representative to voice out our difficulties, pains and whatsoever, but we need a leader to walk the talk and always there with a solution.
We need each other… ‘SHARING’ is the keyword towards unity and success.
by the way, happy Easter!
;p
SUPP is only riding on the back of the Bidayuh, choking and strangling on our neck and in the meantime shamelessly dare to say sorry whilst continuing doing the strangling thing.
There is no more other expression you can say about the situation of the Dayak Bidayuh being treated by the State Bn and all the Political Parties that Dayak Bidayuh are affiliated to. Whatever reason best is to be heard are nothing more than just a purpose for a father to appease his small children by telling them that there is no more goodies in the market, and that will make his children to forget and forgive him.
Wake up my fellow Bidayuh, gone are the days where we all are to be treated as a small kids whose destiny are being control by anyone one else other than by our self.
No doubt we will suffer, but suffering we must if we are to release the strangling hand from our neck for ever and to free ourselves from those nasty big figures. It is too bad for someone else to say sorry on our behalf whilst we are sulking on our failure just because we are not doing enough for our own community. Enough is enough of the sulking job and sitting pretty when we are on the apex of cloud nine.
Hope our leaders knows what does it mean, least we will be degraded from the current status to that of enslaving ourselves politically to those with strength and power that be. Wake up man and be on our own feet, we do have a choice and that is ours to take and savor.
