Tiyung Dayak – “The Sour Dayak Apple” in Bidayuh Politics

For the Greater Glory of Bidayuh Politics

Map reading 101…

Well, I guess that you do remember my first tutorial on Geography 101, right…

Anyway, I’m not going to give a tutorial on map reading, as suggested by the above title. I’m just sharing with you that the following travel map guide is awesome and affordable – especially for those avid explorers/adventurers!

The PERIPLUS Sarawak map…

The PERIPLUS Sarawak map…

For more experience explorers/adventurers, ummm… like myself, I would prefer topographical maps with map scales 1:100,000, 1:50,000 and 1:10,000; including a GPS device, a laptop with broadband connection (for Google Earth scanning), a (Suunto) wristop (for ABC – Altitude, Barometer, Compass), few bottles of Tsingtao tea, etc. An additional clinometer would be an advantage to guesstimate the height of, let say, the telecommunication tower in … Ooops!

L.O.L.!!!

Nay, I’m damn serious! It’s good to know the area beforehand, right! Anyway, I’m not sure whether our Dayak parliamentarians/assemblymen have in-depth knowledge on every nook and corner of their respective constituencies…

Yup, some of these fat, old and lazy YBs are only on activation mode once the buy election is just around the corner. But then, I think most of the time they will rely on “RSS Feed” from their respective JASA (“Special Function(s)“) officers!

Were you there, Dyaksblog?

Wahlau wéh… I’m eager to meet these Dayak Elvises and get their autographs – to be signed on my shirt – in the future!

Not just smart, but go on high tech!

Wahlau wéh… how I wish that our future farmers are smart and techno-savvy… I made a wild guess that Salako Bato and Malaysia Digest are currently involve in this kind of program… Are you guys in the first cohort?! It’s good, for you guys didn’t survive on a 2-minute instant noodles dietary, lah!

By the way, I’m thinking of establishing a tiyung dayak farm in the future – by emulating the following principle/example…
