Map reading 101…
Well, I guess that you do remember my first tutorial on Geography 101, right…
Anyway, I’m not going to give a tutorial on map reading, as suggested by the above title. I’m just sharing with you that the following travel map guide is awesome and affordable – especially for those avid explorers/adventurers!

The PERIPLUS Sarawak map…
For more experience explorers/adventurers, ummm… like myself, I would prefer topographical maps with map scales 1:100,000, 1:50,000 and 1:10,000; including a GPS device, a laptop with broadband connection (for Google Earth scanning), a (Suunto) wristop (for ABC – Altitude, Barometer, Compass), few bottles of Tsingtao tea, etc. An additional clinometer would be an advantage to guesstimate the height of, let say, the telecommunication tower in … Ooops!
L.O.L.!!!
Nay, I’m damn serious! It’s good to know the area beforehand, right! Anyway, I’m not sure whether our Dayak parliamentarians/assemblymen have in-depth knowledge on every nook and corner of their respective constituencies…
Yup, some of these fat, old and lazy YBs are only on activation mode once the buy election is just around the corner. But then, I think most of the time they will rely on “RSS Feed” from their respective JASA (“Special Function(s)“) officers!

Tiyung Dayak a.k.a. Teddy a.k.a. Ted a.k.a. TD
Who is this Tiyung Dayak guy?!
Yes, I have appointed myself as a Blogotician prior to the 12th General Election, which was held all over Malaysia on March 08, 2008. And for the first time in Malaysian history since her independence from the Brits 50 years ago, 2/3 of BN majority has been denied by the opposition. Yes, thanks again to the advancement of ICT – the domain factor that has proves its effectiveness in this cyber war games, where blogs and blogging are the submain factors that has and ever will influence voters’ perception toward ineffective Malaysian leaders (and not just the ineffective Bidayuh leaders).
Since time immemorial (?!), the Malaysians have been denied the truth and most of the time they have been fed with true lies through the gomen-controlled mainstream media! Based on my random survey, it is safe for me to conclude that almost 85% of Malaysian population did not have access to the ICT. But then, there is hope for the better, especially among the young, educated Malaysians, as they are now the major force behind this IT Age Revolution, who are gradually aware about the importance of ICT and put in use in their daily life.
Yes, I hereby take an “e-oath” that I’ll be a responsible Blogotician and practice my rights to express my views freely (here and there!) for the betterment of the future of Bidayuh young ones…
In the name of “Hope for a Better Future” I swear, lah…
Disclaimer: Yes, correct! Come to know him (first) before you’ll love him (and NOT the other way round)… L.O.L.!!!

The Highlander(s)- School Holiday November 26, 2009I still remember my time 10 years ago (1999) during school holiday. After finished my SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) at Kolej Tun Abdul Razak, I straight away make my first journey to Kuching town looking for a job. As a village boy, I do not know much about town life and what I cared the most is my job and saving for the next session of schooling. I brought […]

Another Warrior from Borneo…- Larry Sng's position is now SUPP's dilemma. November 11, 2009As anticipated in my last posting, partyless Larry Sng is being retained in Taib's bloated Cabinet as a partyless legislator and thus technically not representing any of the four BN ruling parties in Sarawak. It is just like comparing Idris Jala who is a Federal Minister and whose senator's appointment was not mooted or derived from any ruling part […]
- Politics of Accomodation, Sarawak Style. October 29, 2009Taib's impending so-called cabinet reshuffle will certainly mirrors one of accomodating a few individuals to appease certain personalities, or, more appropriately, to please entrenched influential family warlordom. In the case of Larry Sng, am dead sure that he will be kept in the lineup despite the bare fact that he does not belong to any political part […]
