Yup, I know that some of you (especially the lady-bloggers) would envy that handmade crafts! That macho chopping boards are locally known as “sengkalan” and the feminine-look objects are the ladles (lady-like, uh…), locally known as “sendok”. The chopping boards were made of Keranji (Dialium sp.) wood and the ladles were made of Puti wood. Anyway, I can’t remember its scientific name – I’ll check later, lah.
Those handmade crafts were proudly Made in Sarawak by my Melanau friends (the two brothers) few days ago…

Tiyung Dayak a.k.a. Teddy a.k.a. Ted a.k.a. TD
Who is this Tiyung Dayak guy?!
Yes, I have appointed myself as a Blogotician prior to the 12th General Election, which was held all over Malaysia on March 08, 2008. And for the first time in Malaysian history since her independence from the Brits 50 years ago, 2/3 of BN majority has been denied by the opposition. Yes, thanks again to the advancement of ICT – the domain factor that has proves its effectiveness in this cyber war games, where blogs and blogging are the submain factors that has and ever will influence voters’ perception toward ineffective Malaysian leaders (and not just the ineffective Bidayuh leaders).
Since time immemorial (?!), the Malaysians have been denied the truth and most of the time they have been fed with true lies through the gomen-controlled mainstream media! Based on my random survey, it is safe for me to conclude that almost 85% of Malaysian population did not have access to the ICT. But then, there is hope for the better, especially among the young, educated Malaysians, as they are now the major force behind this IT Age Revolution, who are gradually aware about the importance of ICT and put in use in their daily life.
Yes, I hereby take an “e-oath” that I’ll be a responsible Blogotician and practice my rights to express my views freely (here and there!) for the betterment of the future of Bidayuh young ones…
In the name of “Hope for a Better Future” I swear, lah…
Disclaimer: Yes, correct! Come to know him (first) before you’ll love him (and NOT the other way round)… L.O.L.!!!

The Dayaks’ DEEP THROAT- Poisoned Fruits Of Merdeka: Incapacitate The Dayaks August 26, 2009While it’s almost meaningless to relate Merdeka Day to the Dayaks, it is rightly so. JEBAT – Must Die?- More supporting single school system November 27, 2009A good letter in The Star today: IT was reported that many race-based organisations object to the proposed single school system for fear of losing the unique identity of their own community. They believe that when children attend national schools their cultural character will be diluted (“NGOs fear loss of unique cultural identity,” (The Star, Nov 6). These […]

- Taib's "Till Death Do Us Part" Cabinet November 12, 2009It is quite obvious now that Taib wants to die in office. Another Warrior from Borneo…- Larry Sng's position is now SUPP's dilemma. November 11, 2009As anticipated in my last posting, partyless Larry Sng is being retained in Taib's bloated Cabinet as a partyless legislator and thus technically not representing any of the four BN ruling parties in Sarawak. It is just like comparing Idris Jala who is a Federal Minister and whose senator's appointment was not mooted or derived from any ruling part […]
