Yup, I know that some of you (especially the lady-bloggers) would envy that handmade crafts! That macho chopping boards are locally known as “sengkalan” and the feminine-look objects are the ladles (lady-like, uh…), locally known as “sendok”. The chopping boards were made of Keranji (Dialium sp.) wood and the ladles were made of Puti wood. Anyway, I can’t remember its scientific name – I’ll check later, lah.

Those handmade crafts were proudly Made in Sarawak by my Melanau friends (the two brothers) few days ago…
