Tiyung Dayak – “The Sour Dayak Apple” in Bidayuh Politics

For the Greater Glory of Bidayuh Politics

Paperless, and yet it’s worthless!

Yup, here I’m again!

We heard lots of grumbles nowadays. Every where in Malaysia (and the world over, of course!), the rakiyats faced hardship to carry on with their daily lives (since the current flip flop gomen assumed power in 2004)…

Prices of goods, especially food and other necessities are soaring high. A RM50 bank note today IS NOTHING if you go to a sundry shop to purchase the good(s). It became worthless, downgraded to a mere RM10.00 in value! Ah, yes, we also live in the so-called paperless world as inflation and unemployment rate is high from time to time, i.e. less money generated for the income!

We knew that the gomen (especially Malaysia’s Mr. Information – Mad Sourberry Cheeky) misled the masses that the soaring prices were due to hike in fuel price! Hmmph, it’s true but how are they going to contain it? So far, nothing happened, except the rakiyats received more economic burdens day by day!

Compared to Anwar, this infamous Mr. Information really lacked of information (including low I.Q.) during their infamous debate held on July 15, 2008! Aside from personal attack, he always raised the ye-olde issues – more on history lessons – UMNO, BN, PETRONAS and bla, belah, blah! Mr. Anwar Ibrahim, on the other hand, has laid the roadmap for economic recovery if the opposition could take over the present gomen. Aiyah… we are drop dead waiting for another miracle to happen in Malaysia! Yes, the value of our money has been devaluated and our lives nowadays are at par with the Indonesians. The inclination is there for us to live life to the hardest like the Zimbabweans – if the current situation has not change for the better! Yes, it’s not a BIG SURPRISE if the central bank is going to circulate the RM1,000,000.00 bank notes if high inflation is not to be contained…

One of the well known but rarely practiced solutions by most Malaysians is to save (i.e. by force) part of their meager income (e.g. into ASB, EPF and personal insurance) and control their spending habit. But then, as usual, it’s easier said than done!

Another best example to look at during this hard time: why spend a thousand more Ringgit on a new Sony Ericsson K880i hand phone while you can still use or purchase the ye-olde Nokia 3310, which is more or less RM99.99?

Yup, I know… the choice is yours! It’s style lorrr vs. priority/necessity, isn’t it…

Well, this is just my other 1-cent opinion…

Hear you! Hear me…

As I mentioned earlier in my previous post, I seldom update my blog on regular basis. My active playground these days is at Malaysia Today and other blogs. Yes, I did send my comments (that seem relevant – I guess so, as it looks relevant, sounds relevant – you name it, lah!) in Malaysia Today…

Well, you know lah… I’ll be right back (in active mode) whenever the Sarawak State election is around the corner! By the way, do read comments left by my readers, will ya?!

So, see you around, guys and girls!
