DJ Headwind: Here’s another message sent in by Apai Roy (Roy’s Dad). Not sure where he is now… Apai Roy’s message is dedicated to all longhouse chiefs and their followers at N. 29 Batang Ai… His message reads:

There will be a cock-fighting at Hilton Batang Ai Hotel on the morning of April 7. There are two cock contenders that will fight for N. 29 Batang Ai trophy…

J. Gerang’s Fighter Cock: Don’t worry boss… as long as we live, we’ll fight… Do you hear me!?!

Additional Notes

1.      Cikgu JJ loves baldie Dana Daling a.k.a. Dom Romeo’sPatah Ke Lidi” song… He downloaded it from YouTube.com last month. Asked on why he loves that song very much, he replied, “Ohhh, that song is fully loaded with “Poetic Ammo“!

2.      Tiyung Dayak firmly believes in People’s Power (including Flower Power) as a mean to change the non-popular government of the day. Masing is correct when he said (in Fauziah Ibrahim’s 101 East interview) that the electorate have the final say either to retain or oust such a non-popular government of the day!

Tuition on Maths (again), anyone?!

What a coincidence! As I’m bZzz watching “Casino Royale“, just this morning I’ve read yesterday’s Borneo Post (March 19, 2009 Edition)! Sighed…

I took a glance at the front page and “Gosh…!“, as I said to myself. Tjaboo was blaming PKR for doing badly in maths and I just posted my motivational article last night (about 8 hours ago) for Masing-Tjaboo-PKR to relearn on how to excel in maths!

Aiyah!

Anyway, the following news cutting will tell us that the BN Camp is now on a “shopping spree“, with lots of “dispensable income” to be spent on votes buying in N. 29 Batang Ai!

Well, as the electorate, you and I will be the judge!

Let’s the mayhem begin, folks!

Mathematically correct, yeah!

Nope, I’m not going to discuss elementary nor advanced mathematics with my learned readers out there…

Anyway, thanks to TunA for informing me about Al Jazeera’s 101 East program. The program was about “CMS” and its “marriage” to power, business, and politics (and perhaps malpractices of business ethics through direct awarding of uneconomical development projects to CMS, Titanium, etc.) in Sarawak. Owh, by the way, the program entitled “The Fight for Power” was aired just now at 2030 hrs MYT, March 19, 2009.

The program featured – among others – the interviews with Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz Hussain (GMD, Sarawak Energy Berhad), John Brian Anthony Anak Jeremy Guang, D.Mgt. (Weblogotician of Dayakbaru.com) and Datuk S(e)ri James Jemut Anak Masing, Ph.D. (Minister of Land Development Debolotment).

The Masing’s interview in that program has caught my attention! Yeah, he unintentionally pathetically told the lady interviewer that he’s not aware about CMS’ ties to power, business and politics in Sarawak. Could he been nervous in front of a stunning lady?! I’m not sure (as I’m still studying Masing’s body language!). Another good point for Masing though, as he was debriefed by the interviewer on the current “business facts“!

Yeah, I like it (very much!) when the interviewer asked him on how towash the dirty linen in public“… And Masing was quickly responded by pointing out that it could be made possible by the electorate!

The electorate, uh?! There you go, folks! Make a test for this up coming battle at Batang Ai! Fight for your rights, for your better future!

And yes, mathematically correct, the days for Masing and his Dayak colleagues in BN to stay powerless in the state gomen are being reduced and numbered – from now on till the next state election!

For example, let’s do some maths on forecasting…

The Powerless...

Owh, by the way, as always expected, the Office of the Chief Minister of Sarawak has definitely “declined” such interview with foreign journalist(s) or media!

And yes, kudos to Al Jazeera News Network for making the news known to the world! I don’t think that Mr. Karam Singh Walia and TV3 will be able to make it…

There’s something about “writing” the “right thing”…

OHHH-HAHHH!, Dayak bloggers!

Yup, just to make it “short and sweet“… This morning, while having my Kopi O and Laksa Mihun somewhere in the nook corner of Kuching City, I’ve scanned through today’s Borneo Post dated March 16, 2009! Gosh, a familiar wording used as a title has caught my attention!

That’s why I came up with this new article – There’s something aboutwritingtheright thing“. This unknown BERNAMA reporter could have been reading Borneo Warrior’s articles entitled “Battle Royale for Batang Ai – Parts 1 – 4“! Part 5 of the battle is just been published today! Anyway, I’m yet to (re)read all those 5 volumes of your works on “Battle Royale“, Mr. Bo(u)rne… as I’m now bZzz watching “Casino Royale“… Heh!

Good for that reporter by the name “BERNAMA Reporterlah, as s/he got paid for “publishing” the “recycled” news item… But, does s/he aware of “plagiarism“? No? Sighed… Anyway, kudos to Borneo Warrior! Hopefully he didn’t involve in such “scam“… L.O.L.!!!

I hope that the Dayak bloggers out there should be their own self – be original in your writings (and thinking) and say NO to “plagiarism“. “Thou Shall Not Steal (… and Bribe?)“, warned Dyaksblog in his latest article just now!

At least, the so called “Dayak leaders” will continuously shying away from reading our blogs, as they don’t understand on “how to“, etc. Ooops!!!

OHHH-HAHHH!!!

OHHH-HAHHH!!!

OHHH-HAHHH!!! Yes, that’s right! No, No! Not “Hoo-Haa-Hoo-Haa!” lah…

It’s “OHHH-HAHHH!!!“, yeah!

I remember Dyaksblog’s favorite chant, “Ooo-haiii! (Tiyung) Dayak!” whenever he begins his “keynote address“. And I like it! Well, the pitch used by him can be considered as non-brutal or non-heavy metal. I guess that he always use the soft pitch/tone, just like what the famous Malaysian singer – M. Daud Kilau – used to utter during his singing session…

Dyaksblog – I’m wondering where is he now?! How’s the weather at Batang Ai right now, doc? L.O.L.!!!

Yes, “OHHH-HAHHH!!!” is a chant, normally to be uttered during Gawai (the Dayaks’ harvest festival) ceremony, known to the Ibans as “miring“. In Bidayuh, it is known as “Beris” or “Berih” or “Borih” (Is that right, TunA – regarding the last one?). Well, I’m not an expert on chant(ing), so it would be better for me to direct my readers (especially the non-Dayaks – other Malaysians and foreign alike) to this expert for the FAQs session! If not, then GOOGLE Search is another best option, lah

This afternoon, TunA – another nickname for Mr. President (of USA (B)) – has sent me a message. He asked me to help him to promote the “Gawai Dayak Festival 2009” with West Kalimantan (KALBAR or Kalimantan Barat) GovernorBapak Cornelis – to be held at the state palace (or “Astana“) – from May 19 – 21, 2009.

As I don’t want to misquote TunA’s message, kindly check his blog here for details. Or, since he got another new blog, I’ll direct my readers to the itinerary, lah!

Click on the image for the “itinerary” lah...

Click on the image for the “itinerary” lah...

The time is NOW for those who are interested to join in. So, get your money and passport ready for the Ngabang Gawai Visit and meet Bapak Cornelis on the second day of the “state visit” at the State Astana in Pontianak, West Kalimantan…

Me?! I’ll join you guys and gals next time!

Are you coming, Miss Kepayang?

OHHH-HAHHH!!! HAHA!!!

Social Media: Is it effective in “swaying” ye-olde voters’ votes?

I just want to highlight the effectiveness of social media*Microsoft PowerPoint presentation – as a mean to give political briefings to kampong folks… Yes, the time is NOW to bring it out from lecture/seminar rooms and make some presentations to the massive – educated and non-educated alike; rich and poor; famous and infamous; young and old; males and females (transvestites are also welcome to join in the forum, lah!) … Yup, the proposed meeting place could be inside the stadium, at randau ruai, multi-purpose hall or even under the tree is also can, what… Recommended time for screening – in case IF it is going to be held under a tree is in the evening, lah!

Knowledgeable and skilled orators are hereby needed to participate, so as to achieve our common goal, i.e. to wrest N. 29 Batang Ai, lah…

Well, the following is just a sample presentation without any additional plug-ins (background music, animation, etc.)… I’m pretty sure that there are a lot of experts out there who can lend their help in enhancing such presentation by chipping in better inputs.

Of course, I’m quite frustrated as the original PowerPoint file was rejected earlier by WORDPRESS.COM – it could be due to its high security alert against cyber attack – so I have changed the presentation format into graphic image files!

Anyway, happy socializing, interacting, etc. to all N. 29 Batang Ai voters out there… The orators (speakers) are able to conduct FAQs from the floor, I guess!

Yup, this is just a SAMPLE presentation! And no lawsuit, please!

Weather Alert: Windfall – forecasted at about 40.2 km/hour – only at Batang Ai!!!

Last month – around mid February – a federal Santa Clown flown to Kuching to give away a RM4.0 million goodies to (the) DBNA. And then, as reported by the Broken Shield on March 10, 2009, another RM40.2 million goodies have been promised by another federal Santa Clown to N. 29 Batang Ai voters (in particular)…

Wow! Too much of rakiyats’ money had been (and are going to be) spent, especially in these tri-b(u)y-elections nationwide, which are scheduled to be held simultaneously on April 7, 2009! The amount for Sarawak alone, however, is yet to reach “hundreds” of million, or it couldn’t be. Nay… maybe around RM4.0 million + RM40.2 million + RM5.8 million = RM50.0 million or it could be less than that! As we know, that amount is just “a peanut” to BN, as compared to billions of RM of exported products produced in Sarawak (for the past many years!). Anyway, let’s call such “goodies” as “innovative goodies“.

The article – “Biggest durian “runtoh” for Batang Ai voters” found in thebrokenshield.blogspot.com. Click on the image for details.

Innovative goodies“, uh?! Even MoSTI couldn’t allocate part of its so called “innovative (research) grants” to develop, design and build cheap electrification system for some rural areas in Sarawak and Sabah, as most of its grants were gone wasted oversea for some “irrelevant and unproductive” R&D works! Again, “unproductive“, uh? Well, that money is better to be spent on basic “human reproductive system” R&D, lah… Aiya!!!

Anyway, it’s good to know that both gomens (federal and state) are recently “very concerned” and wanted to develop N. 29 Batang Ai (including its remotest area?!) into an IT hub. Is it going to be a reality?! Yes, of course, Malaysia Boleh! Batang Ai (Dam) pun boleh bikin tapi rakiyat maseh miskin…

I’m wondering: did the late Mr. Unting fulfill his election promise(s) made to N. 29 Batang Ai folks during his last campaigns prior to 2006 state election?! Ooops, OK! May God grant peace upon his soul (p.b.u.h.peace be upon him)… Amen+

How about PRS?Ooops, I did it again” ~ Britney Spears…

And thank God as I almost forgot! I’ve some goodies for you, folks! My friend and I got the idea from the articles contained in the Broken Shield (Figures 1 and 2 – just click on the images for details).

Innovative research?! My foot!

No wonder that MoSTI (Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation) couldn’t provide more grants for innovative (basic) research, especially in providing solutions on how to best design and build cheap electricity for rural folks in Sarawak and Sabah. Cheap electrification for massive rural here means either to generate power via reconditioned diesel engines or mini hydro dams or solar power

Guess what?! Well, I guess that almost all (MoSTI) research grants were “dried up” by its head for other “innovative research” on “oil and gas drilling techniques” oversea!

Yup, don’t forget! Billions of Ringgit Malaysia were burnt prior to sending Malaysia’s first space tourist on October 10, 2007 by the same ministry! Sighed…

Read this for details – on how the ministry minister sucked up licked rakiyats’ money…

A combination of beauty, intelligent, intelligence and intelligentsia…

Wow… I FEEL GOOD! You know what, folks?! I got a response (uncensored) from Miss Kepayang this afternoon… Thanks anyway, Miss K! I’m flattered, actually… Oooh! Ooops! No, No! Look for other Mr. K and/or Dato’ K, please, as I’m currently under the “magnifying glass“. Let me recommend Mr. President (of USA (B)) to you. He told me few days ago that he’s not yet an old man; well, you do know what I mean, lah!

L.O.L.!!!

The brainy Judith in gallantry style with the head of Holofernes. Click on the above image for details.

Well, this (ahem!) lady Miss Kepayang reminds me of the story of Judith in the Old Testament. Judith’s story is amazing! With her beauty and intelligence – special gifts given by God – has finally helped her to save her people from the oppression of the Assyrians, i.e. by chopping off the head of the Assyrian army chief general named Holofernes (sometimes spelt as “Holophernes“).

So, what’s the moral of Judith’s story? Yup, in order to resist the self-proclaimed “god” – King Nebuchadnezzar – (read: tyranny), we must “chop offHolofernes’ head (read: the current gomen, lah!). So, folks, do not feel discouraged or disheartened, as help is on the way – God willing, Insya Allah! And do keep your fighting spirits in HIGH ESTEEM, my friends! Well, if you don’t mind, you can spend your time reading Judith’s amazing story here. There are lots of things to be learned, actually…

And now, as usual, here come the goodies for the day! It’s specially “crafted” as part of “The Flame of Political Change 2009 – 2011“. For those of you who love to study tactics created by Sun Tzu, you can accessed it here.

Field briefing is one of the important aspects in (all) military operation(s). The platoon leader plays an important role in disseminating information (mission objective(s), specific target(s), etc.) and delegating duties to his subordinates. The success of such operation, however, depends on various factors, as partly shown in the caricature… The caricature depicts a “covert” operation by a small and elitist – let’s call it “Sigma Tau Force” (that’s why they are shown here wearing Guilley/Ghillie/Yowie suit, as they are “snipers”). Yup, such force is small in number, well-trained and specialized, “unknown” marksmen… L.O.L.!!!

By the way, during my “routine meditation” three days ago, I’ve found the following reflection very inspiring. Yup, it does reflect on the real world situation that affects everybody’s life. Read on…

Sometimes society finds it difficult to come to grips with the evils it has done. It tries to make excuses, saying: “it was the best choice we had at the time” or “we didn’t know better”. Jesus says that there’s a link between what we know and what we are responsible for, and that this is true of whatever groups, cliques, neighborhoods, ethnicities or races we belong to, no less than it is true for each of us as a person. The truth is always out there and some will see it, eventually toppling the house of cards that backs evil.

God is often at work through those believers, who are victims of injustice. These victims are, after all, the ones who need the binding of wounds and the caring and the feeding and the teaching, the ones who need the support of a powerful God. Jesus made it clear that the relationship with our neighbors is the key to the health of our relationship with God. Society needs His kind of reconciliation more than ever. Jesus’ vision of reconciliation is the most important gift that Christian believers can give to the world and to political systems right now. (Friday, March 6, 2009 Reflection)

Based on this reflection, how come we say that politics or governmental practices should be separated from the Church or from other religions? Yup, it’s secularism!

So, in whatever you do, don’t forget to say your little prayer (regardless of your belief/religion), my friends! That’s the greatest power that we (should) have in ourselves. Everything is free from our Creator. The only keyword is A.S.K.

OK, before I log off, I just want to inform my readers that this is my 100th article for this blog since March 08, 2008! All in all, there are 103 articles, lah!

How about you, Mr. President (of USA (B))? I know! But then, please remind yourself not to spend too much time with Miss K!
