Tiyung Dayak – “The Sour Dayak Apple” in Bidayuh Politics

For the Greater Glory of Bidayuh Politics

Syabas, Inspektor Sa’ab…!!!

I know that some of my readers out there ARE NOT the great fans of Hindi movies and neither did I! But then, I’m sure that they have heard this phrase (or movie script) before: “Syabas, Inspektor Sa’ab, syabas…!!!” (Clap! Clap! Clap!).

You know what, my friends?! My sister has informed me just now that Mr. & Mrs. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi have been conferred with the title “Tun” (or is it “Toon”?) this morning by the Malaysian King, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin. Unsatisfied, I asked her on where she got the news, which finally led me to Utusan Malaysia Melayu Online!

Utusan Online. 2009. Abdullah terima anugerah Tun. April 3, 2009 Edition.

So soon?!? And it makes me feel really disgusting! No wonder the post of Malaysia’s Premiership is just like fried bananas – cooked with contaminated cooking oil! What a shame!

There’s nothing great about these guys, actually! The only GREAT thing is that the toothless ACA / MACC (or BPR / SPRM) – until now couldn’t find any wrongdoings made by them, while they were in office!

This reminds me of Mahatma Gandhi’sSeven Deadly Sins“:

1.      Wealth without work;

2.      Pleasure without conscience;

3.      Knowledge without character;

4.      Commerce (business) without morality (ethics);

5.      Science without humanity;

6.      Religion without sacrifice; and

7.      Politics without principle. (http://www.mkgandhi.org/mgmnt.htm)

Chalo, béti!

  2. 7 deadly sins – very common with our politicians. Who vote them in? Who must change first – voters or politicians?
