The proposed Cow(ardice) Act, 2009…

What the hell is going on in Malaysia today? It seems that the proposed 1Malaysia concept has been changed and endorsed into the 1Malay concept! WHAT?! The hell breaks loose, huh…?

It’s really frustrating to read/see and hear on what’s happening in Malaysia today. Weird, but it really happened! Yup, see the evil, hear the evil… [Click here, here, here and a lot more in here, as the photos in that blogs can’t lie to you and me (unless there are doctored photos, lah]!

Is there any significant point to commemorate Malaysia Day today and beyond? No point (at all), unless the 1Malay concept is to be abolished, ummmph, under the proposed Cow(ardice) Act, 2009 – as other existing laws and regulations are of no more value at all, lah!

To those (Malay) offenders who have been involved in the cow head protest, may your Allah have mercy upon you (bodies and souls) and may he grant the very much sought pahala kepala to you, as the incident was happened during the early week of Muslim fasting month! (WhatA crap)min

Have a crappy fishing and hunting to all during this off day! August 31 and September 16 are just normal – forecasted to be another perfect days for fishing and hunting, lah

One fine day – somewhere in Mukah…

My boss showed me an ink-sketch just now. So, as an avid fine arts lover, I took the opportunity to make a digital copy of this photocopied version of the original work, which was sketched by his Chinese friend in Bintulu last year (2008).

The digital copy of an unknown Chinese illustrator's sketch of a sago plantation - somewhere in Mukah (?)...

The sketch is really amazing and I can only say a word “Wow!” The sketch was made based on illustrator’s imagination, meaning that he did it without referring to any photograph or sitting/squatting/standing in front of a sago plantation lah. He showed us a smallholder’s sago or rumbia (pronunciation: room (not rum) – beer) or mulong (pronunciation: moolong) plantation – somewhere in Mukah. Imagine an illustrator who uses Adobe Illustrator software to do the sketch – grenti ada uuummmppphhh, beb!

Yup, sago plays a vital economy among the Melanau folks in Mukah-Balingian-Dalat-Igan-and where else? districts. Detailed information on sago can be found here and here.

Sorry, can’t buy us lah, Lover Boy…!

Whoever read the following article would find it disgusting and feel offended

This enturun-guy – I’m telling you guys – he can hide, but he can’t run. He can fool the less fortunate, but not you and I! Well, he showed us that with his available money (?), he can buy almost everything, including the X-favours…

Nay, he’s just another fool on the block though; what he can bought with his ill-gotten money are cheap publicity and fake friendship; but he won’t get – not even a single, genuine trust from the entire Dayak, ΔΨΞ fraternity! [Study case: Tiyong Tiong Can Sing vs. Ong Pee Cat in PKFZ saga]

A friendly reminder:

Every mind-conscious Dayak shouldn’t associate nor trust this Dayak-ID killer…

The fuss and buzz of S.O.P. …

Ooops! Don’t get me wrong, folks! I’m not referring to Sarawak Oil Palm (S.O.P.), but the Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P. or S.O.Ps.).

Nowadays, many organizations are gearing towards (international) standard certification for their multiple products and services; so most of the time, the management team will get severe headache in setting up and/or revising the (current) S.O.Ps.! It’s fine if the big boss(es) isn’t (aren’t) fussy at all, lah

My colleague joked about it, saying that “S.O.P.” makes “Semua Orang Pening!” (All felt the dizziness, lah!)… This is what busyness all about!

L.O.L.!!!

ANSWERS

Quiz #1

B. Type Mammoth – the designated Chief Monster of …

Quiz #2

C. NREB (Natural Resources and Environmental Board)

Reason:

This is the sole agency that functions – among others – as enforcer for prescribed (?) burning at oil palm plantations in the state… The months of June through September are the best months for its enforcement officers to make fatty wallets… Oops! Nay, I mean their travelling/outstation allowances, lah!

Quiz #3

C. I, III, IV

And the reasons for that…

  • Enforcement Officers – take the case of NREB, lah!
  • Timber camp workers – they extract the logs during daytime and go fishing during nighttime, since the water level is low during ’tis the (drought) season
  • Fire fighters – they have to (yup, have to) be in a standby mode – in case of fire incidence due to over-active prescribed burning of new oil palm plumptation… I’m wondering whether they’ll get any overtime payment for that…
